Check out the photos.  That pile of mozzies which you see in the photos is one single catch which we emptied from our trap.  It was caught in just three weeks in the middle of winter in at our home in the Bay of Islands (Winterless North).  We catch even more in the Summer!

It emits both HEAT and a little CARBON  DIOXIDE  like warm blooded animals do.  And guess what!  Warm blooded animals like you and your family are the prime target of Mozzies and Sandflies!! There are no CO2 cartridges to replace, these clever gadgets produce their own CO2 using a Titanium Dioxide covered plate as a catalyst!

In addition to this it also has near UV light to further attract them into the trap.  Once they enter the “attractive” reception area, they are sucked into the catcher basket by a low power fan and kept in there where they peacefully go to permanent sleep through de-hydration. EXCELLENT!!

These traps are ideally hung outside the house, on a corner and under the roof overhang, where they will be out of the rain.  They are mains operated but the mini model can also be operated on 12 volts DC and comes complete with both mains and car adapters.
